Inspiring People

I am inspired continuously by people I have met while doing the work of this book.  Somehow, not by surprise, it is the parents and children suffering from low grade gliomas, that have impacted my life the most.  I’d like to share some of those stories here through this blog.

There is a little girl in Wisconsin that is two years old.  Her parents are amazing people.  They were kind enough to put a blog on their website about my book this christmas season and many people ordered the book to help the cause (and hopefully enjoyed the book’s message!).  I wont name her name because I haven’t asked permission (although I will and come back and edit this site with a link), but just know there is a beautiful, blond haired two year old who has to get a brain tumor off her hypothalmus so that she can absorb nutrients and gain weight.  It doesn’t matter what she eats, her body can’t take in the nutrition until the tumor stops getting in her way.  Please send thoughts and prayers in her direction.
