A story that changed me forever. Emma’s mom.  I don’t even know her first or last name.  I just know she lost her five year old daugther to a brain tumor and that she found me at a book reading.  She had seen the news coverage on Fox 25 News and she said she wanted my book as a christmas gift for all the people that were missing Emma and still grieving deeply for the loss.  She said Emma would have been a Spriitelee.  I wish I could find Emma’s mom again and tell her that she has no idea what her finding me has meant to me and to my commitment to this work.  I consider it one of the greatest “unwrapped gifts” from my lifetime.
